What do private e-prescriptions consist of?
E-prescriptions allow professionals to issue prescriptions via e-mail using an e-signature.
How do e-prescriptions work?
1
Schedule an appointment with your doctor
You must first arrange a consultation with any of the professionals available on your medical roster.
2
Includes teleconsultation or video consultation filters
Remember that at Adeslas, we have enabled our entire medical roster so they can attend to you remotely (at each doctor’s discretion) by means of a telephone consultation or video call.
3
You will receive the prescription at your e-mail address
After the consultation (in-person or remote), you will receive a document with the prescription at your e-mail address.
4
Go to the pharmacy
You will have to identify yourself and show the prescription on your mobile phone screen (or printed out on hard copy) or the code included in it. The pharmacist will check its validity on their computer system and dispense you the medication that has be prescribed.
